Pros

  • The package comes with a comprehensive manual that makes assembly easy
  • Hephestos 1 price was reasonable
  • smooth
  • reliable and stiff
  • a decent quality and are easy to assemble
  • It has a powerful cooling fan which has proven to be very effective
  • The prints are smooth and have acceptable tolerances
  • big print bed and solid construction it
  • Marlin drivers provided are working fine
  • it makes a very stable impression
  • The manual itself is nicely done as well

Cons

  • it s definitely not for high-end users
  • This is practically a weak frame
  • tram the bed on the included adjustment points
  • the printer has been discontinued by the manufacturer
  • text-only menus and the cryptic abbreviations
  • Hairspray did not work for me as well
  • Is it not heating up
  • are extremely noisy and have too much friction
  • only comes with a set of Cura configurations
  • printed parts are not made by a high end printer
