B&W's flagship CM9 is the pick of an impressive new range
I am new to the world of HiFi and putting together my first HiFi. I mostly listen to Jazz and Classical; in the background while working, reading or having friends over. I am getting a pre-listened Linn Sondek LP12 with a Ortofon Quintet Blue MC cartridge; getting a Phono-in too. I liked the B&W 683 but am being offered a good price on the B&W CM9s - which I am told is much better, and looking for the right amp to go with it - under EUR 2000.
Best traditional package £3500+, Awards 2013. A satisfyingly high-end listening experience at a fairly attainable price.
