Premium feel, unrivalled power and weight, but overcooked bass
Review: Bower & Wilkins venture into the world of earphones with the in-ear C5 canalphones which attempt to live up to B&W's high standards.
If you’re sick of trying to choose among dozens of lookalike IEMs in the racks at electronics stores, you’ll find the C5 to be welcome relief. This IEM resembles nothing else on the market. The back of each titanium earpiece holds B&W’s Micro Porous Filter, a layer of hundreds of tiny steel balls that the company says works as a sonic diffuser. Each of the two cables slides through its earpiece to form an adjustable loop that fills your pinna to keep the C5 in place.
Bowers & Wilkins C5: Review by Headfonia - The Headphone Enthusiasts' Website
The Bowers & Wilkins C5 Series 2 earphone pair has upgraded drivers and a fantastic sound signature with deep bass response and clear highs, just like its predecessor.
Bowers & Wilkins C5
It's amazing sometimes what one simple design tweak can do for a product. Case in point: Bowers & Wilkins' elegant new C5 earphones.
The in-ear market is flooded with sets that can compete with the Bowers & Wilkins C5 in every way for a lot less money.
Performance Features Comfort Value
People don’t usually associate Bowers & Wilkins name with reasonably priced audio. Yes, they make killer products, but affordable? Not for the average Joe
