  • The newly updated look makes editing your favorite presets easier and quicker
  • The cabinet sim is very good
  • channel is great for crunchy tones at low gain
  • includes easy to work with sliders to set every parameter
  • the boosters are really good and easy to use
  • these amps are amazingly affordable
  • the Katana sounds very very good
  • affordable guitar amplifier is
  • It sounds good at low volume as well
  • The eq has a great range
  • and is very responsive

Cons

  • hidden behind the controls is a seriously powerful tone engine
  • It s very hard to get a tight modern sound
  • Katana 50 is as loud as class A/B 50 watt tube amp
  • The high-gain sounds are a little bit harder to tame though
  • play guitar and stare at the red dirt
  • it s not as impressive as the rest of the channels
  • no valves
  • They seem a little dark and lackluster in comparison
  • not using the software
  • a Gibson SG and a catastrophically loud amp
  • as it can feel awkward - like an afterthought
