  • The covered lower edge bodes very well for long-term durability
  • unbeaten comfort and excellent ventilation
  • one-handed tensioning system is superb on the Velocis
  • excellent airflow and reduces wind roar
  • Bontrager has done a great job maintaining a lightweight product
  • easy to adjust and find the ideal fit
  • got the best technology to survive and stay alive
  • better visibility and a touch of flair
  • breathability remains good for even the warmest days in the saddle
  • classic looks and the ability to pinpoint tighten the shoe
  • performs so well and fits like a glove

Cons

  • isn t as much air moving over a rider s head
  • Bontrager s strategy here a bit odd
  • perspiration builds up and eventually dumps down into your face as usual
  • crashes on asphalt are almost universally ugly
  • Velocis MIPS is a bit tricky to judge
  • incredibly stiff and invariably expensive race shoe
  • is still noticeably missing a pair of cargo shorts from the lineup
  • the color options include high visibility
  • No cherry-picked units sent by manufacturers
  • lot airier and less congested on my head
  • the straps will not stay tight at all
