Pros

  • DR500GW is a solid camera
  • All opinions are true and unbiased
  • The GPS and adjustable motion features are a nice touch
  • DR500GW-HD is packed nicely in a good quality box

Cons

  • Audio is muted on purpose
  • s a tiny white LED under the camera lens
  • lack of durability and poor quality of this product
  • motion artifacts that make reading fine detail difficult
  • Very poor lens and it cannot focus on US license plates
  • no trouble reading off licence plate numbers off passing vehicles
  • accidents are expensive affairs in Singapore
  • the battery voltage dips too low
  • it does not record the video
  • only tested the Android app
