An upgrade on an already nifty portable projector
A portable projector that needs a new app store
The BenQ GS2 has a 720p resolution. It is also IPX2 splashproof. The projector has a battery life of three hours.
Small, reasonably light, rugged, splash-proof and comes with a cool carry case, the BenQ GS2 can keep the family entertained anywhere.
In a nutshell, the BenQ GS2 projector is not only portable but truly lives up to the promise of “hassle-free wireless setup.”
Other than portability and the option to project massive images on any surface, the GS2 doesn’t offer much.
The attractive BenQ GS2 portable projector is outdoor-ready with a splash-proof and drop-proof design, family friendly with a magnetic power cord and wireless capabilities, and it offers surprisingly good color.
The BenQ GS2 gets enough right—image quality, water resistance, easy setup—to make it worth considering. But disappointing onboard audio and flawed built-in streaming keep it from being a slam-dunk pick for a portable entertainment projector.
