  • nice
  • slim and simple chassis design
  • G2222HDL comes fairly well configured out of the box
  • Gradients were pleasingly smooth
  • G2222HDL's overall performance is very encouraging
  • Power consumption is also very reasonable

Cons

  • setting did have a tendency to over-emphasise dark areas
  • no HDMI - no surprise at this price
  • Adjustability is restricted to just tilt
  • BenQ does neglect to include a cable for the latter
  • lose a little accuracy
  • the display emits very little heat compared to standard CCFL backlit monitors
  • Failed more pixel inversion tests than the average
  • sharpness issues and stumbles in some of our image quality tests
  • the colours are still way out of whack
  • Scaling abilities are limited to Full and Aspect
  • input lag was recorded at all
