Pros

  • HDR support worked pretty smoothly
  • fairly smooth screen surface helped the brighter elements appear quite smooth without
  • Performance on the white saturation test was very good
  • fairly smooth screen surface gave these brighter elements a reasonably smooth look
  • contrast gradients were displayed appropriately
  • Quite nice flexibility and by all accounts one of the better interpolation processes
  • responsiveness of the monitor was quite impressive overall
  • much smoother gradients and a better nuanced variety to
  • The monitor performed well in this respect
  • Performance on the black level test was strong
  • strong connected feel was also an enjoyable addition

Cons

  • not exceptionally low minimum luminance
  • the sound can get quite muddy at higher volumes
  • Bass of course is lacking somewhat
  • the sound felt hollow and boring
  • this is not a 4K gaming monitor
  • the Cinema option can be quite overwhelming on brighter scenes
  • mediocre contrast ratio and black uniformity make it
  • doesn't have a black frame insertion feature
  • middling black uniformity can be distracting in dark scenes
  • lack of adjustability is disappointing for those who need to work in portrait mode
  • No cherry-picked units sent by brands
