  • The output of built-in dual speakers is quite decent
  • contrast performance was excellent overall on Battlefield 4
  • unit performed consistently well here which is always good to see

Pros

  • The output of built-in dual speakers is quite decent
  • contrast performance was excellent overall on Battlefield 4
  • unit performed consistently well here which is always good to see
  • Dark shades had really good depth
  • contrast gradients were excellent with all bands visible in distinct brightness steps
  • Dark and shaded areas showed very good levels of detail
  • The blue block was a good solid and deep blue throughout
  • sound quality is quite reasonable for integrated monitor speakers
  • luminance range of the monitor was also exceptional
  • semi glossy screen surface colours looked fairly smooth and pure which was nice to see
  • colour performance was also pleasing on Dirt 3

Cons

  • no HDMI cable provided in the box
  • The control buttons are bit hard to find as they are not clearly visible
  • eyes are getting less strained as compare to traditional monitors
  • matte black plastic with a brushed metal texture
  • the image was not impaired by glare or reflections
  • slow or overly aggressive pixel transitions
  • dim green power LED hanging down beneath the power button
  • transitions where pixel responses were evidently slower
  • stereo speakers located on the left and right sides of the ports
  • lacking the heft of some of its metal rivals
