Pros

  • Software and Performance Setting up the Nook is simple enough
  • a nice job of making the device look sleek and compact
  • the touch mechanics are quite responsive and the device as a whole is satisfactorily zippy
  • extremely quickly to the device
  • we thought it would and the screen was sharp and offered enough resolution
  • Controls on nook Color are minimal and logical
  • great feature to promote books and getting more people inspired to read
  • this device is great
  • It makes it very intuitive right out of the box to be able to manage your content
  • soft-touch rubber back feels great in your hand
  • simple and classy

Cons

  • lack of physical home and volume buttons
  • no physical home button or fingerprint scanner
  • sluggish processor has a hard time doing more than turning pages
  • Speeds are limited by the slow processor
  • browser shows no results for the Lenovo Tab M10 HD
  • Screen transitions throughout the UI are slow and often jerky
  • no access to full Android Market
  • the screen is smaller than the iPad's
  • occasional browser crash that locked up the device--funnily
  • The device is a little on the heavy side
  • it's not a Retina display
