Pros

  • The sound is very organic and natural
  • has good off axis rejection and good sound quality
  • quality mic and the mount it comes with is a very nice addition

Cons

  • really not set up for serious audio
  • the battery drain is extremely slow
  • does not use phantom power to extend my camera's battery life

Pros

  • The sound is very organic and natural
  • has good off axis rejection and good sound quality
  • quality mic and the mount it comes with is a very nice addition
  • improvement in sound recording is fantastic
  • Great sound
  • great price

  • Perfect for independent
  • low-budget films
  • mic construction quality is excellent as is the sound quality
  • Great Mic at a Reasonable Price

Cons

  • really not set up for serious audio
  • the battery drain is extremely slow
  • does not use phantom power to extend my camera's battery life
  • The AAA battery has a short life span and is a bit difficult to replace
  • the audio adapter is a noticeable hiss in the background
  • no shotgun mic is complete w/out a poofy windscreen
  • has ridden off into the sunset
