Pros

  • classy sound that matches both the mature image and the 500 price
  • unusual design and superb bass performance
  • Detailing and clarity are excellent
  • MS-Pro is very lightweight
  • Front rows in a concert is so much fun
  • The wood finishes are sublime
  • truly excellent
  • much smoother and more refined
  • Denon is mostly better
  • It was definitely a valuable and informative piece
  • very clean

Cons

  • rears and plenty of odd little design flourishes
  • Strange-fitting high-end headphones are nothing new
  • the uneven load does take a little getting used to
  • the headband itself is really quite bizarre in itself
  • their grip on your head is deliberately light
  • the weight of the headphone also gets annoying
  • not full size
  • not over the ear
  • bowl pad are not the best thing in comfort
  • W1000 is a bit tough
  • the header photo can be made into a wallpaper
