  • VX279 is far better than my current monitor

Cons

  • doesn't always recover from sleep mode either
  • the on/off button redundant
  • the built-in speakers are absolutely terrible - worse than most laptop speakers

  • well built and great IPS display monitor
  • Dell has a good lineup as well
  • VX279 is far better than my current monitor
  • They create awesome products with awesome service combined
  • is looks like a great monitor for many different uses
  • The image also remains accurate when viewed at an angle
  • extremely accurate colors and great peak brightness
  • viewing angles are much better on it
  • much better ergonomics and better black uniformity
  • better horizontal viewing angles and much better ergonomics
  • ASUS has a better response time at 60Hz

Cons

  • doesn't always recover from sleep mode either
  • the on/off button redundant
  • the built-in speakers are absolutely terrible - worse than most laptop speakers
  • ASUS VX279 LCD Monitor
  • the labels are not backlit
  • Asus VX279 is not really a gaming monitor
  • a bezel-free design or ultra-thin bezel
  • VX279 is prone to motion blurs or screen tearing
  • thick and the monitor is not fully covered on the front side
  • the power supply has been hived off into a separate brick
  • looks extremely expensive
