  • delivers a tremendously consistent performance almost regardless of volume level
  • logical and easy enough to follow and the range and off axis performance is very
  • The remote itself is a solid piece of kit

Pros

  • delivers a tremendously consistent performance almost regardless of volume level
  • logical and easy enough to follow and the range and off axis performance is very
  • The remote itself is a solid piece of kit
  • Dirac implementation has been most effective here
  • build is solid though and the green on black display is clear and easy to read
  • affordable and value-packed products
  • excellent Dirac Live correction
  • the dynamics were excellent
  • Arcam stacks up reasonably well with my NAD M2
  • Advance Audio Australia over a very formidable contingent of suiters
  • Very nice future proofing with the 8k inputs

Cons

  • the bass response of the speakers might be significantly curtailed
  • the sound is more uneven and has a slightly ragged feel to it
  • their stereo systems do not require this functionality
  • AV receiver without surround is a pointless undertaking
  • It may not display this or other websites correctly
  • clipped signal error
  • lack of DSD support came as quite a surprise
  • Dirac only detects signals via USB
  • it simply as a scaled back AV Receiver
  • it is not converted to HDMI
  • Very noisy Making good audio very very difficult
