Pros

  • Hewlett Packard Stream 7 is a great tablet for the price
  • It feels sturdy and safe to hold
  • the hardware is surprisingly decent
  • the tablet is easy to hold as well
  • the case design is solid
  • The touchscreen is very precise even in the corners and drag-and-drop is accomplished easily
  • a great form factor and very affordable price
  • low power consumption and the well-controlled temperatures
  • the observed temperatures are certainly quite low and very good for
  • speaker quality is adequate and the maximum volume is sufficient
  • The clear and responsive touch screen is a joy to use

Cons

  • it is a bit cramped
  • there is no mini-HDMI port
  • It may not display this or other websites correctly
  • all small in size and take up little to no memory
  • They are often underpowered and running Google Android
  • cannot be charged while be hooked up to your PC via the USB cable
  • a stylus does not ship with it
  • This tablet is not brimming with super high specs
  • everything will be too tiny to click
  • And very heavy for a 7 inch tablet
  • Sound quality make it useless to play music

The HP Stream 7 is one of the first of a new breed of seven inch tablets that have a full version of Windows and at $99 price point. Combined with Bluetooth and expandable storage via SD, you can really turn this into a fully featured laptop. Is this worth it to spend?
