Polished Performer
the headphone is light and the clamping force isn t great
midrange is forward and aggressive
Positioning is quite decent and it s very easy to pick out individual instruments
both relatively neutral and extremely engaging
MS1 is exceptionally crisp and energetic
the bass and treble
efficient and very easy to drive

The build quality of the earcups is great
plenty of air and extension
nice body to each note
The midrange is smooth and layered
Separation is very good and imaging is super sharp
MS1 s are still a very impressive performer
MS1 s are very comfortable
incredibly punchy and agile

Treble is probably the most polarizing aspect of the Grado sound
Adjustment mechanism is flimsy and can cause the cable to twist
loss of focus misses out on that last bit of detail
Double entry cable is not ideal for wearing comfort

magic is lost due to the extra bass and distance of the driver
Alessandro s are very hard to beat indeed
Cymbal decay is also a little bit too fast and unrefined
