strengths and weaknesses quite fast
the soundstage was incredible and the reproduction levels were incredibly high
Build Quality The build quality of the AKG K551's is outstanding
the depth and width of the music was phenomenally pleasing
high quality synthetic leather and are very comfortable for long listening sessions
the mid-range is nicely proportioned and vocals are very natural
their build quality is excellent
The bass is accurate and midrange clarity is absolutely gorgeous
equally responsive and comfortable to use
the headphones are very much excellent
Treble is smooth and pleasant
great sound and looks to boot
Performance The sound is very balanced
these are nice headphones to go for

frail cable gets caught on something
the highs were a little rolled off
the pads were a little on the thin side
they lack in the bass department
this is not ideal
they will not sound right with non-Apple products
Apple has switched the polarity on the headphone jack
just too large to be lugged around
AKG K551 is not exactly cheap
there is usually so much rumble as to drown out any bass
relative lack of bass means
