AER Compact 60/3 - Pros & Cons

AER Compact 60/3

Pros

  • compression the Baggs pedal provides is decent
  • thick
  • articulate
  • woody and punchy and quite touch sensitive
  • The effects are very good
  • It performed as superbly with both of them
  • The vocal channel is also very good
  • amp will reproduce incredibly accurate rendition of its natural tone
  • Compact 60 is very intuitive and allows the user to setup a great tone
  • powerful yet mobile enough to be useful for gigging
  • the guitar channel s midrange control is more effective than on previous versions

Cons

  • No feedback issues and for the first time in this duo
  • slightly bigger and heavier
  • over can be hard to resell
  • is a bit too much for heaving strumming
  • It is a bit lacking in the bass department at higher volumes
  • The color switch filters high frequencies so they are either softened or enhanced
  • tediously terrible monitors gig
  • lack of CD/MP3 player input option
  • amp allowed the effects to be sent through the DI output
