  • H118's bright tilt and well-mannered midrange
  • bass is enhanced
  • with good extension and strong punch
  • cups are deep and have good freedom of motion
  • plastics with a textured finish in places and feels very solid
  • A nice hard-shell carrying case is also included
  • The DNA Pro is also more efficient than the H118
  • the connector design and build of the cable were first rate

Cons

  • difficult to tolerate for more than an hour or so
  • not annoyingly thin as it does with a lot of headphones
  • Ergonomics are not quite as mainstream as the look
  • bass is tight
  • treble sounds a little smeared compared to the ADL set
  • lacks a large amount of treble energy
  • sounding warmer and darker
  • the stock cord is not designed for portable use
  • lacks refinement in both the bass and the midrange
