Adam Audio F5 - Pros & Cons

Adam Audio F5

Pros

  • the stereo field is nicely expansive
  • combines appealing features and an affordable price
  • sound is more refined

Cons

  • Low listening levels = too little bass
  • soft cone is sure a bit sloppy and certainly
  • newer models
  • Plastic cone is usually very VERY poor choice for midrange clarity
  • It may not display this or other websites correctly
  • A series is simply long outdated compared to their newer S and T models
  • somehow avoids sounding harsh with any decently recorded music
  • the speaker is not magnetically shielded
  • low-frequency range tends to mask higher frequencies during percussive fills
  • Blaster The low-end is less controlled and a bit less clear
  • sound a bit duller
