Pros

  • control panel offers access to all necessary functions and features
  • clear
  • crisp picture
  • and is very affordable
  • The included remote is fairly standard as well
  • Better black levels and a more convincing HDR performance
  • pictures certainly look more crisp and detailed than HD
  • the jungle Its colours
  • in particular
  • look superb

Cons

  • lock slot is located in the lower right corner
  • sound dull and the overall sound is a bit hollow
  • made it a bit harder to tell the difference between some of the settings
  • The shadow border around the projected image
  • the power socket is located on the bottom left
  • there s a little more brightness
  • offset by quite a pronounced hum from the colour wheel
  • it s only mono
  • its black level response proved pretty uninspiring
  • dark scenes appear behind a very noticeable grey wash
  • ratings are sometimes different depending on the platform
