In starting this review, I could wax lyrical about how Huawei are the next big thing in mobile, how the Chinese entrant is making the best phones on the market, or any of a number of superlative statements about the company, its vision, or its products. While I could do that, I don’t need to.
A limited upgrade to a major player
Huawei's P10 stands the test and convinces with a superb Leica dual-camera, improved battery life, and great performance.
The US isn't missing out on much with this Huawei flagship
A decent shot at greatness from Huawei, but the P10 now has a flagship price

Last year, we fell in love with the Huawei P9‘s excellent dual cameras and straightforward approach to Android. But it’s...
Huawei has priced the P10 to sell, but that doesn’t mean it has skimped on either features or style.
Half the price of Huawei’s best, but the P10 Lite loses a lot of its stand-out features too
It might be a little off the pace but with great performance, excellent camera and good fingerprint sensor, the P10 is the Chinese firm’s best phone to date
The Huawei P10 Smartphone features a dual-camera setup that includes a traditional RGB color sensor and a separate monochrome sensor which combine to record the final image. The advantage is an improvement in low-light performance, with denoising applied to the P10’s more sensitive monochrome sensor, which can record more photons in the same amount of time compared to the RGB sensor. This results in lower levels of noise and greater detail preservation, which is particularly noticeable in low-light images. To further bolster the P10’s low-light credentials, the camera module has been co-engineered with Leica and features the German manufacturer’s Summarit f/2.2 lens. The P10’s dual-camera setup is the same technology used in the Huawei P9 Mate, which achieved excellent scores in our industry standard tests. Huawei has obviously put a lot of effort in to its latest Smartphone photography capabilities, with notably significant development over the last 2 years, so it’s little wonder that the P10 displays excellent improvement in image quality over the previous P8 and P9 models.
The Huawei P10 Lite is a new budget smartphone with a 12 megapixel sensor, fast-charging battery and a 5.2-inch Full HD display. Read our Huawei P10 Lite review now...
The P10's lovely compact design and terrific camera are the best reasons to buy this phone.
