The new Whiskey Lake-U Core i7 XPS 13 9380 is only about 10 percent faster than the last generation Core i7 XPS 13 9370. It's a very minor gen-to-gen update that doesn't offer any new surprises for an already excellent subnotebook series.

Dell moves the webcam to where it always should have been, fixing one of the very few faults of the drop-dead gorgeous, highly capable XPS 13. Earning our highest recommendation and a rare five-star rating, the XPS 13 (9380) is, indisputably, the best ultraportable laptop you can buy.
